Sharon began her personal yoga practice in 2009. As a school nurse, she began to share her yoga practice with students and teachers. Seeing them benefit from learning yoga techniques sparked her desire to become a certified yoga teacher. In November 2018, Sharon completed her 210-hour Yoga Teacher Training through Samadhi School of Yoga. Sharon enjoys practicing and teaching various types of yoga, with special interest in teaching beginners and children. As a teacher, her goal for each class is that her students leave feeling that they have been given tools to handle daily life, through breath and movement, allowing them to become more resilient. In her free time, Sharon enjoys spending time on the water with her husband David, their children Andrew and Melanie, and friends.
